I am a hard-core believer of this famous quote. Let me also share that Patience is something that we must not let go off. I have tested this and it works for me. We cannot rush things to happen, if we want it, the universe will help us to make it happen and of course lots of prayers. I mean lots. All we need is just a little patience (axl is that you singing) 🙂

For my case, I would sometimes desire material things. Not that I want it (of course i want it) but I know that it will be useful to me and for the work that I do. Just recently, I booked a flight for another vacation in our favorite country. Since we will be travelling for 12 days and I cannot leave my work at home, I figured why not bring my work with me. With that in mind, I planned the budget, booking, hostels etc and looked for places with wi-fi access. Wi-fi is easy to find but what if you don’t have the gadget to use it with. I kept on thinking, browsing online, checking the most cheap netbooks that I can find without at least affecting our budget for the trip but I can’t find anything that’s easy on the pocket. You will have to shell out 15K or more and that’s no good for me at this time. So to cut the story short, I saw this appliance store where they offer deferred payments on appliances including netbooks, pcs and what-nots. Just by trying my luck, I applied and submitted by application for them to assess. Had gone through the very thorough investigation to see if I am capaable of paying (of course i am), checking of people, asking a lot of stuff but I managed to get it over and done with. The next day (03.15.2011), an sms made me smile telling me that I am approved for the netbook that I want. Went to the store, submitted the requirements, paid the deposit and i was able to bring my new baby home.  I also get to add a new category on my blog. Yey!

Ladies and Gents, allow me to introduce my new gadget. I wonder what will I call her?

my new toy!

I’ve created several blogs from the past and have decided to give up on them. Maybe because I’m not inspired or I just lack confidence when it comes to writing.  I created this blog so that I can practice myself, hone that hidden skill (if i have such) and inspire other people.

Hopefully, I can manage it.

Because of the Postal Heritage tour yesterday and the many purchase of stamps, I am now fast becoming a stamp collector. Yey! I am so loving this.

Since I have a new work which requires me to be awake when the rest of my country men are asleep, allow me to humor you with how I depict myself. No, I no longer work for a Call Center Company and Yes, I work from home.

Thanks to Google for making my imagination real. That is it, I’m off to work.

since i am no longer working, i had to think of ways to fully enjoy this temporary liberation. my resolution is to visit whatever it is that i can visit of my country, be it out of town or just across the street. last jan 8, i was able to visit a spot in Makati which is known as “The Collective”. They’ve got some unique shops, foods and veggie restos which i like.

it was fun while it lasted.

Dec 28, 2010. I decided to leave my day job. I quit. For real. No turning back and no hesitations. It’s weird when you get the feeling one day that you do not want to work anymore. It’s pathetic I know specially at this times but I braved it with confidence, determination and faith. I know that my being freelance will get me somewhere and that’s what I always look forward to.

Any who, enough of the crazy world back then and I am welcoming the new things that will happen.

a late entry. this was suppose to be at the other entry but the pictures were late.

at sonya's garden

December 02, 2010. It was a friends birthday that made us decide to visit this place. What started as a joke, eventually turned out as happy day trip and birthday celebration. We are all from the southern part so there’s only one way and that is Tagaytay.

First stop – Bag of Beans.  It’s all our firsts to be here and we really enjoyed it. They have delectable menu and very appetizing desserts. We had our fair share of their pasta, coffee and the very praiseworthy cheesecakes. They’re so heavenly that I can’t resist eating them the moment it was served. I didn’t have the chance to post the photo’s right away but I will, soon. I would like to commend the lovely staffs and Mr. Security Guard for being so nice to us. It was a lovely experience for a lovely day. I would give this a 2 thumbs-up remark.

Next stop – Sonya’s Garden. An unplanned destination but it’s worth the 15 minutes ride.  I only remembered the location through my head but we managed to be there after eating at Bag of Beans. I figured, the map looks like they’re from the same area so we should be able to hit the road and be there.  With out any hesitations, we rode a jeepney going to Nasugbu and alight at the entrance. We hardly noticed the sign as it’s an entrance to the whole village. Sonya’s is located inside a village so you have to ride a tricycle in order to be there. The jeepney fare is about 12pesos each and the trike is 20pesos for the whole ride.

It was a heaven on earth to see this breathtaking place. It was our second time to visit this place and our friends’ first. We had a chance to walk around the garden and see it’s beauty in mid-daylight. It’s past 4pm-ish when we arrived there. The place was so lovely and I am lost for words describing this place. You have to see it for yourself to really appreciate it. We took a lot of photos but will put it on a different spot. 🙂

It was a fantastic day trip spent with lovely people. Thanks to Google for all the mapping and researching.  It made our day and I hope you will too.

Allow me to introduce our new blog –
I’m starting to like WordPress.
I am thinking of changing it to .com to make it more personal and unique.
I will try my best to make it into Lonely Planet or any DIY travel sites out there.
Meanwhile, this is where all my ramblings will go.

Arbeit – is job or work in German. I would rather this use this language so I don’t sound like I am hating it.

I am thinking of quitting my day job soon and venturing on a different career. I will definitely work from home and will do some side project every once in a while. I am also thinking of marking up by taking some online courses or probably pursuing my German language class.

I would also like to post my desire to work for the best search engine in the world, which I consider my best friend. I’ve made up a cute image for that search engine. I promise myself that I will try to apply there as long as I could.  I just need some affirmation, positive vibes, luck, faith and most of all Prayers.
